Well, here is the Alabama sign. When we were leaving Georgia going to Birmingham to catch our flight this is the sign welcoming us back to Alabama. Brandon was amazed by all the really tall trees we have there. He also liked the pretty green vines. I told him that it was Kudzu and he said he liked it. I told him the story of how president Eissenhaur put the people to work planting kudzu so they wouldn't be on welfare. And now it is growing rampant and is almost impossible to get rid of it! Some of the roots go 50 feet deep so even if you burn it it comes back cuz the roots aren't dead. |
The top picture is of Brandon laying on the floor at the airport. Not sure which one we were in Birmingham, Houston and Denver before getting home to Idaho Falls at 11:30pm. So I got to my house at about 1 am. The picture of me below looks like I was feeling......like crap!!! I was just so tired!!! I was ready to go to bed and when that was taken we were almost home.....waiting in Denver for the plane.

The next few pictures are of Brandon watching movies on the laptop while we were waiting for our plane. Then the last picture is of Brandon sleeping on the plane into Idaho Falls. He was so tired. He fell asleep almost as soon as the plane took off and it took me a while to wake him to get off the plane. I finally had to tell him that he would have to walk off the plane that I just could not carry him. He finally woke up enough to get off the plane. |

When we got home to Idaho Falls and after I got Brandon awake enough to walk off the plane even though it was so late Mandy and her crew was there to welcome us home. They had made posters for Brandon. It was so nice to see them and to just be home. One the way home Jordan kept telling us he didn't want to go home he wanted to go to Georgia........except he pronounced it like " Gogia" It was so cute. He sounded so southern! |
