These first two pictures are of a medical kit that they had displayed behind glass (explains the glare) but I had to show you If you can see any of it. It had a little note beside of it ..."medical kit used in the field....contained a turniquet, bonesaws, tools to remove bullets and toold to cut off arms and legs..." I was like "oh gross" Brandon was like "way cool!" I guess my age shows through, I wan't impressed and Brandon thought it was way cool!
Another cannon outside looking across the battlefield. Kinda sad, if we had planned just one week later we could have actually seen the reinactment of the civil war there at Kennesaw Mountain! I think we all would have enjoyed watching that!

Brandon beside of our great flag at the end of the museum! I'm so glad he enjoyed it so much.
We took him over to Cheatham Hill Rd. It's where they used to have a train engine from this time period we were going to take him on it....we got there and they have moved it!!!! Didn't get to take him to see it!! We did however take him to Lamplighter Village, it is where Randy and I lived when his mom was born so we took him to show him the area I say area it was the road however now instead of the road going to our mobile home it stops and there is a guard rail across it and the state has built a highway there! But he saw about where it was. Then we took him through Marietta and he saw Kennestone Hospital where his uncle Joe was born. We took him to see the Cunningham Ward Building where his mom and uncles and nana and papa went to Smyrna Ward while the kids were growing up. So this is just the beginning of our Thursday!
