I have a lot more pictures I want to share and add to my blog. like more Christmas pictures, more Easter pictures and some pictures I have taken through out the year, unfortunately I can not get the pictures to upload from my camara.....so I am working on it!  Promise there are more of those comming......as soon as I figure it out!

Jacob Turns FIVE!!

Jacob is crazy about spiderman!!  So of course he wanted a spiderman cake.  It was a great party.  Val had the party at Leo's Place and the kids had a blast!

 Jacob and his cousins all look on as they light the candles and he gets ready to blow them all out.

 Jacob got lots of neat toys for his birthday and the some of the cousins really wanted him to share them and let them play with them!  But everyone had a great time.  Even the adults got in on the fun!

January Trip to the South

So this past January just when I couldn't take the cold any longer I got to take a trip to

Georgia and to my Aunt and Uncle's lakehouse in Alabama.  Sorry don't know how to turn the picture but it was so fabulous!!  Below are some of the pictures of the lake.

 I went out to the lake early one morning and found these deer tracks.  To bad we didn't have someone who could hunt!

My poor mom!  She and I went south to have a nice girls weekend at the lakehouse and she got so sick.  She never runs a fever and she ran a fever of 103 we got it down we put baggies of ice between her legs and under her arms and made her take a lukewarm bath.  But she couldn't stay awake.  She would come and sit with us and try to watch the movies with us but she would end up sleeping.  She slept the first two days.  And was still to sick to fly home with me she ended staying in Georgia with my Aunts for another week. I think  she just needed rest!

A Few Christmas Pictures

Randy and I started out at Stephen and Ivy's we spent the night and woke up with them so we could see the kids open presents.  We usually spend the night at Mandys and then go to Steves since Mandys kids usually get up sssooo early we can watch them open presents and still get to Steves in time for there opening of the presents.  However Mandys family was sick and no one could visit them and they didn't get to join us at Joe and Vals later to open presents.  It was really sad!  We got together with them later and gave them their presents and they swapped presents with each other later during the week.

Airport fun

So part of the benefits of working at the airport is that when the kids visit me at work they can see some of the tugs we drive.  Here  is Riley sitting in the window of one of the planes, he got to sit in the pilots seat!  The next picture is of him in the cockpit he loved that!  Next, Bailey is pretending to drive our belt loader.  Riley is siting on the four wheeler in the middle of the airport.  Yes,the sign does say please do not get on!!!  Oh, well they had a lot of fun!

 

A Cookie Tradition

 Ok, so another picture (top one) for the next post!!  So one of the things that Valerie has started with our family is that sometime in December before Christmas, she makes sugar cookies and icing and then all the kids get together around her table and they decorate their cookies.  They really have a lot of fun getting together and decorating and eating the cookies.  Here is Bailey starting to eat hers.

 Brandon shows off his cookie I think maybe it was a snowman, and he added lots of m & ms.  No face but plenty of m&ms!!

 Tianna seemed to have kept hers pretty simple.  But sometimes that is how they taste best!

 WOW!!  More is best for Jacob!!  This is Jacob's cookie.....lots of everything on top.  However, he might have thought it looked good, but he didn't eat it......at least not while we were there.

All the kids had tons of fun decorating and eating their cookies and even the adults got to eat some cookies after the kids decorated them.  We all had such a nice time watching the kids and chatting.  Thanks, Val for getting a new tradition for us.....we totally enjoy it!

Cupcakes

So this past December (Sorry, these are out of order!)  I decided  I would try to start something new so I made cupcakes and tried to get the grandkids over to decorate them, thought it would be a nice tradition to start.  Anyway, didn't work so good, but Riley and Bailey came to decorate here are some of the pictures of the ones they decorated.  Mandy took cup cakes home and let the kids decorate them at their house.  It was just so busy everyone couldn't get together  to do it.....maybe nect year!

 They both just wanted to eat the frosting!  Riley decorated his but then licked off the frosting Bailey just got a spoon and started eating frosting!!  OOPPS!!  The bottom picture goes with the next batch I'm gonna post!

Easter Egg Hunt

We had an Easter Egg hunt this year at our place.  Since we live right across the street from the church we took advantage of that and had it over in the church yard.  Here is our beautiful Tianna I think she had the toughest time finding all her eggs!  Except for Dallen, but to be fair, Dallen wouldn't have had to bad a time finding all his if his last one had not been in Bailey's basket!!

Uncle Joe is helping guide Riley to his egg.  It was to funny, I wrote the kids names on the eggs to make sure they all got the same number of eggs, so everytime Riley would find an egg with his name on it he would say "R" "i" "l" "e" "y" that spells Riley that's me!  All before he put the egg in his basket!
