BOYS WILL BE BOYS!!!

Dallen and Brandon spent the night with us Friday night.  On Saturday we stayed around the house during the morning but later in the after noon we went for a walk.  We went to get in the car and Dallen reminded us that in order to go for a walk that meant that we didn't take the car, but when we told him we knew a place where we could walk around the river and they could see it upclose they were all for it.  So here a some pictures from our walk.

 Brandon had thrown a stick in that stuck on the rocks so here is papa and the boys throwing rocks at the stick to knock it loose.

 Of course the closer you can get to water to throw the rocks and sticks in the better!!  I had to keep calling them back so they wouldn't get to close.  The water is still really high.

 We walked along the river by the memorial for the vets here in St. Anthony.

 This just shows how fast and how high the water is running and it is really pretty!

The boys said it was their best day ever!!  We all had a really good time.  We love doing these things with the grandkids, it gives us a chance to play with them and get to know their personalities and their sense of humor.  We get to know their likes and dislikes.  It really gives us a nice chance to enjoy them and know them and let them get to know us better.  At the end of our walk we all got a slurpie or should I say a slushie (that is what the boys kept saying its really called!)  Looking forward to more fun filled days will all the grandkids!
