Thanksgiving Day Fun

I think I should start at the beginning for this blog....I had to work Wednesday before Thanksgiving but I like to let the grandkids come spend the night whenever they can because it is really hard to find a night that they either don't have school or I don't have to work!  Anyway, I worked til 12:30am Wednesday and Tianna wanted to spend the night, so I text Mandy to see if she was still awake because somewhere around 10:30ish I got a text from her saying she was getting tired.  But she was awake so I went to pick her up and took her home with me.  When we got home we still needed to cook the stuffing for the next day and an appetizer - what I was to take for the dinner - we were having the dinner at Joe and Val's at 11-1130 on Thanksgiving.  So Tianna and I stayed up until 3:10am fixin the food we were taking.  Tianna had said she was tired but I guess she got a second wind!  Anyway, at 3:10am we went to sleep and at 8:40am something Randy woke us up because we needed to go by Winco to get a few groceries before we went to Joe's.  So we got up and got ready to leave.  We got to Winco and got the shopping done pretty quick, and were done by 1030....so I drove really slow to their house. We got there at 10:55am. Tianna asked me if I knew that we were early enough that we probably could have slept an extra 30 minutes!  I told her I thought we needed to beat papa for gettting us up to early she said "yeah!".  Next time though I think we will both choose to sleep the extra 30!
Mandy and Ernesto and their family got there close to 11:30.  Stephen and Ivy and their family were in Logan, Utah with her family.  So we sat and talked and ate appetizers while the ham cooked.  We had a wonderful time and we all were stuffed after dinner!!  It was a good thing there wasn't an emergency because no one was moving very fast!!  We sat and talked for a while and the cousins played.  Then we played the game "Things" we had a BLAST!!! 
It was such a wonderful relaxing day...I know we all had a really nice day.  It was so nice to spend the day together.  I am so thankful for this family of mine!!  I love them all ssssoooo much!!  I am very blessed!

Freezing Fun!!!! Halloween!!

 The Whole Gang got together and did Trunk or Treat at Joseph and Valerie's Ward.  They had lots of fun even though we all froze!!  Someone there even served hot chocolate and doughnuts!!  We were so grateful!!

 Tianna was our little hippy with pink in her hair.  She seems to love that time she would have been a good hippie back in the day!!  She even has a huge peace sign necklace that she wore.  Soooo cute!!

 Dallen was our most handsome mexican......cowboy!  He says he was a mexican and yep he really can pull it off he is a good mexican!!  Maybe something to do with the genes!! 

 Brandon was our homeless person.  He played it so well!!  He even had a cardboard sign around his neck that said "will work for candy"  He was excellent. 

 That brings us to the cutest little cowboy ever!!  Jordan was so cute!!  He had a little stick pony that he "rode".  He went trick or treating too but he would cry whenever he saw a scary person.  He didn't seem to get that it was someone dressed up just like he was!!  He just didn't want any part of it!

 The best green fire breathing dragon anyone ever saw!!!  That was Jacob!!  He even had little boys in his ward that would run over to him and say "it's the firebreathing dragon" and he would breath/blow at them and they would fall down on the ground all burned up from the fire!!!  It was way cute!!

 Riley had two costumes he was superman when he came to Mandy's house earlier today and such a cute superman he made!!  Then when he came to trick or treat he was Buzz light year....such a handsome buzz!!  He would go up to people and smile and say trick or treat then after he got the candy he would smile and say thank you!!  So sweet!

 I told Stephen and Ivy that he was going to be gong up to strangers in the mall just saying trick or treat cuz he really got the I get candy for saying that!!

 Bailey was a skeleton at Mandys earlier in the day and she was a doll!!   Check out those chubby legs and her pig tails!  Then when she got to trick or treat at Joe and Vals she was a pumpkin.  It was a good thing to cuz it was so cold!!  Her little nose was frozen!! 

 She is so fun all the kids love to hold her even Jordan!  And Riley loves his sis!!

One last look at the whole gang!!!  Fun was had by all!!  I think Uncle Joe might have had the most fun.  Sitting on the back of his truck giving out candy.  When he realized that one of the boys had been around about four times the kid held his bag open and said trick or treat, Joe said trick and stuck his hand in his bag to grab some candy out, you should have seen that kids jerk his bag away!!  Hey and guess what....he didn't come back around!!!

The Majesty of our Heavenly Father

I know there are a lot of times that we complain about the weather in Idaho.  And in all honostly there is a lot to complain about!!  However, the ot othe night I was at work and I was setting up the ramp and I looked up and saw the most amazing sight in the sky!!  Seriously, sometimes I just don't think of how beautiful the sky can be!!  Here are some of the amazing pictues I took as I watched the sunset that night.  I hope you enjoy looking at the majesty of Heavenly Father as much as I still love to look at them!

                                     

OVERNIGHT PARTY!!!!!

So we had and overnight party at nana  and papas house about a month ago.  Jacob wasn't feeling well so he didn't get to come.  But te other kids seemed to have lots of fun.  They played at the playground across the street from the house for a little while.  Then we all came back to the house and Jordan and Riley wanted to cook.  So I got out all of papa's grilling utensils and they had a blast!!  They thought they were cooking with gas on the grill!!  Here are a couple of pictures of them.

 After a long day of "cooking" they played with their shopping carts for a while and then it was time for movie and popcorn.  Well, popcorn for the older ones and pretzels and chocolate mini eggs for the two llittle ones.  Jordan and Riley sitting together watching the movie.  They played SSOOOO GOOD together!!  Their was even hugs!!

 Brandon, Tanna and Dallen eating popcorn and chocolate mini eggs while they watched the movie.  These guys were such good sports.  They played so good with the little ones and even watched the movie that they thought the littel ones would enjoy.  Trust me Barnyard was not their first choice!!!  But they watched it for Jordan and Riley.

Well, all the kids stayed the night except Jordan.  I think I tried to lay them down to early - 10:30 pm cuz once he realized it was bed time he wanted his mom!  I think if I would have just let him fall asleep on the couch he might have been ok.  But then I might have ended up taking him home at 3 in the morning instead of 10:30 pm!!  Either way everyone had a good time!!

The River - Riley's Favorite Place to Go!

Whenever Riley comes to our house in St, Anthony he always wants to go to the river!!  We go down to the river and we get as cloe as we cant ot the water that is sage and then we get a pile of rocks that he can throw in the river and see them splash.  He loves to hold up the ones that are bigger and show them to us telling us they are "big" then he throws it in the water and when it splashes we make a big deal about gettting wet and he just giggles!!  Whenever he comes you can be he will ask to go to the river or he'll ask to g to the water.  It must be something about boys cuz all the grandsons love to play by the river throwing rocks in.  One of the earlier posts  were of Dallen and Brandon playing by the river.   Below are some pictures of Riley and papa sitiing and throwing rocks in the water.  Randy would throw them far out in the water and Riley would try to do the same.  He thought it was the best fun ever!!  Enjoy the pictures.

 Riley loved to walk Chico.  Here is a couple pictures of  Riley with my cute little dog.  Unfortunately we were unable to keep him and so we gave him to Candace and her family.

 After our time at the river Rile came to our house and listened to Randys Ipod.  The earphones are huge on him but he wouldn't give them up!!



4th of July

 I went to the 4th of July parade with Mandy and her family.  It was so much fun!  Here are a few pictures and trust me it is a few, I took lots but they look so far away these are the best of the ones I took.  I need to take photography or something so I can take a decent picture!!  Anyway, here is one of the gliders that was flying overhead before the parade.  There were actually two of them.

 Little Jordan was pretty interested in the "goings on" he watched the gliders and was ready for the parade.

 Brandon, Dallen and Jordan are watching one of the people on a 4 wheeler that was giving out free snow shack snow cones.  They eventually did go and get one.

 Tianna was in the summer band parade.  This is there band marching however, I didn't get a good picture of Tianna, It looks so far away you can't even tell it is Tianna.

We had so much fun watching the parade and especially watching the kids.  Some of the floats threw candy and they all ran to get as much of it as they could.  Jordan would go pick up one piece and bring it back to his mom.  I started picking up pieces that I could throw out for him to pick up cuz he kept getting just one piece or none.  He was so cute!!
