Big Chicken

The Big Chicken is a historical landmark in Marietta, every time you ask directions it includes the Big Chicken Dallen really wanted to see it. Here it is. He said it isn't what he thought at all. He thought it would be a chicken with yellow feathers. He was pretty impressed.

White Water

These were pictures from White Water the main thing Dallen wanted to do was ride the Tornado. And that was one of the first things we did. The first thing we did was go to the Tree House I don't have a picture of it but there is a big huge bucket on the top and it is slowly filling up with water and jusst randomly dumps on unsuspecting people below. We were standing under it when it dumped and I was soaked and so was my camara!!! So it was not working right and still isn't sometimes it takes the picture and sometimes it doesn't. It keeps freezing up so I only got these few pictures at White Water

And Chucke Cheese TOO

Tonight we went to Chucke Cheese. Boy did we have FUN! We ate pizza, and hot wings, and drank coke and played games forever!!! (about 4 hours) Here are some pictures of Dallen playing some games and with Chucke. And after playing the games he got to pick out a prize with the tickets he had gotten............wait til you see it.......it's a good one!

Part 2 of Day 2

So after we picked Randy up at the airport we decided to stay in and let him rest for a while since he had had no sleep for two days. So while he rested Dallen and I played at the pool. Here are some pictures...........and yes they are backwards again so the first one is of a splash but the next one shows Dallen jumping in to make that splash. Enjoy...

Dallen's Trip Day 2

On the way to the airport to get papa (he made it in today) I told Dallen about The Varsity, and I told him that papa might want to eat lunch there. So when we picked papa up we got back in the car and headed toward Marietta and sure enough papa said he wanted to eat at The Varsity. We asked Dallen if he wanted to eat there and he was all for it when heard it was hotdogs! So here are some pictures.

Dallen's Trip

We finally made it !! Here are some pictures of Dallen on the plane (starting at the bottom) then Dallen waiting for our ride in Atlanta. We called Patty and Debbie and they came to get us but while we waited Dallen saw a praying mantis. (picture also included) Dallen thought it was huge and wanted to know what would be inside of it if he cut it open. The good thing is that if he keeps that interest a biologist makes pretty good money!! This morning Patty took us to Chik fe la for lunch Dallen really wanted to eat there. While we were there "the cow" came in and we took his picture with the cow. He is sure his uncles Joe and Stephen will be so jealous!! Alicia's little girl Courtlynn was with us. It was so nice to see Alicia and her girls. We haven't seen them since they went to Mississippi. This evening we went to Aunt Marthas for dinner and nana got some good ole fried ocra and steak with peach pie and ice cream Dallen wouldn't try the ocra or peach pie but he had corn on the cob and mac n cheese and ice cream. Dallen made a friend with Logan, he is Sharons son Martha's grandson they seemed to have a lot to talk about. Well, this is our trip so far, we are still trying to get papa here, he is stuck in Chicago!! But will hopefully be here at 9am. We will be going to White Water tomorrow unless we are waiting for papa and then we will swim at the pool at the hotel and go to white water Saturday. But then we can go to Chuckee cheese after we pick up papa. We are staying flexible and just having fun. Check in later for more updates!

Dallens Trip

Sunny Days

Today at Riley's party we got him some tigger sunglasses (he loves his tigger)!! Here are some cute pictures of him trying them on. We had cake and ice cream and everyone came. Jacob played with Riley with his new basketball goal, Jordan crawled around and visited with everyone and Tianna and Dallen and Brandon played with the little kids. They are so good with the babies. I am so proud of them. And Dallen did let me know today he is counting down til we leave on our trip 4 days!!

Riley's Birthday

Today we had Riley's birthday party I can not believe it but he will be one Wednesday! I got to make his cake and I made a clown cake with the heads being marshmellows. He quickly grabbed the blue icing had off the head of the one clown. He seemed to enjoy his cake and ice cream and really liked the present. Papa and I got him a little basketball goal that cheers and plays music when the balls go through the hoop. Here are some pictures.

Vacation Time

Well, here it is the third week of July already, I say already but I am ready for it cuz it means I get vacation next week!! And that means that we me, Randy and Dallen are going to Atlanta!! We have big plans for the time we are there. We are leaving Thursday morning, the 29th and hopefully arriving that same day, We will go to White Water on Friday, Chuckee Cheese Saturday the Atlanta Braves game Monday where Dallen gets to meet the baseball players and get there autographes, he is so excited! And I am excited to get to be there and see how much he enjoys his time in Atlanta. It will be his first time back since he left when he was a baby. Hopefully he will even get to meet some of his cousins! So I will have lots to tell you in a few weeks and hopefully lots of pictures too!

Family Time

These are pictures taken at our family dinner. We do it every third Sunday and I lovc it. It is great to know that no matter what we will get to see the WHOLE family at least on that Sunday. It is fun to here all the kids laughing, teasing and having fun. It fell on Fathers Day in June and Randys birthday so it was lots of fun.
