Summer - We Finally Have One

Yea!!! Summer is here in Idaho! It is so nice outside! Dallen asked me last week when we could go to the water park in Pocatello and I told him when it is warm enough. Then he wanted to know what day it would go past 80 degrees because then it would be!! I don't know if it has gone above 80 but it is making a good start heading that way. Yesterday I went to Rexburg and picked a walmart bag full of lettuce out of our garden!! ( we are doing a garden with Mandy and Ernesto this year in their back yard since they have a big yard) Anyway, more lettuce and raddishes then we can possibly eat!! Oh, and a beet that someone picked by accident. I am so excited!! Can't wait for our first trip to the water park........hope all the kids are ready!!!!

Fathers Day and Birthday

The 19th is Randy's birthday!!! He will be 50 I can hardly believe he is that old.....since if he is I am getting there also!! I don't feel that old!! I wanted him to know how much I appreciate him being willing to make the move here to Idaho so I could be near the grandbabies. I know he has come to love being here too!! I hope you have a GREAT Father's Day and Birthday!! and remember you are only as old as you feel!!!Luv ya!!

More of the Reasons I love being in Idaho

I am pretty new at this blog thing so I hope you will be patient with me.....I really do enjoy being here in Idaho. There are a lot of advantages that you don't have in the South. One thing I have learned in my Sunday School class (I teach the 16-18 yr olds) is that the kids here don't face the same types to temptations they do other places. I can ask a question like "is there any time you had someone try to get you to take drugs or drink alcohol or just do something you shouldn't" and I just get a blank stare....then they usually say "no my friends wouldn't do that" What!!!! I know it is pretty sheltered here but wow!!! So I love that my grandbabies are being raised in this sheltered place -Idaho. So here are some pictures of my loves. They do have a way of brightening up my day.

Dallen's Ballgame

I try to go to as many of Dallen's ballgames as I can, I love to watch him play ball! He is such a natural. He really loves the game. Here he is playing his heart out and the best part is is that he is really good!! He can hit like Hank Aaron, he can catch and he can run!!! He is awsome. I am so proud of him. Way to go Dallen. I know the games are over, but I also know he will keep playing and practicing and getting even better!!

DAY AT THE ZOO

Today Ivy, Valerie, Mandy and I took the kids to the zoo!! What an adventure we had!! I was happy all the grandbabies were together. We had lots of fun looking at the animals, but a lot the fun was from watching the little ones faces! After the zoo we had a picnic in the park where the kids just RAN! I want to thank Val for the great idea of us all going together and spending time together just having fun.
